Problem of The Week: Due Friday, October 22
Look at the container of CANDY CORNS on display in the classroom. Your job, this week, is to figure out how many candy corns are in the container. You must apply skills of estimation, arithmetic, and measurements in completing this task. These skills must be demonstrated in the work you turn-in on Friday in order to receive credit for the assignment. A reasonable estimate falls within 20 candy corns of the correct answer, and a reasonable estimate, accompanied by correct work, will earn you a score of 5/5.
